      CHINESE GOVERNMENT DONATES TO FCT SCHOOL

1.       In a bid to sustain the existing partnership with the Federal Capital Territory Administration Universal Basic Education Board, the Chinese government has made some donations of instructional and electronic materials to FCT China assisted model school Nyanya.

2.       The items which were presented to the school on Thursday 14^th July 2016 consisted of books, computers, air-conditioning units and exercise books.

3.       The Director of FCT Universal Basic Education Board, Dr. Adamu Jatau Noma (mni), who received the items on behalf of the board, said the materials would go a long way in promoting teaching and learning in the school and this will in turn give rise to improved enrolment and retention.

4.       Dr. Noma also promised that the Federal Capital Territory Administration would ensure that more classrooms were constructed in the school to address the expected increase enrolment

5.       He said the Federal Capital Administration would address the challenge of electricity in the school to ensure that pupils benefit from the electronic items donated.

6.       The Head teacher of the school Hajia Duduyemi Saudat expressed appreciation to the Chinese Government and FCT UBE board for their continued support and promised on behalf of the school to make judicious use of the items.
