Access Fee

What is Access Fee?

The ₦500 (Five Hundred Naira) "access fee" collected on annual basis per student is used to provide and maintain the following technological solution to all Junior Secondary schools under FCT-UBEB.

The Central portal, Individual school websites, security, backup, online admission, JS1 placement management and daily maintenance services is provided by PLOVTECH SOLUTIONS, our official Web Technology Partner. To enable them maintain and provide a stable services on the portal each student pays an annual access fee of ₦500 (Five hundred naira only) directly to our techology solution provider. The access fees paid is used to provide the following services and support to all our schools, one hundred and fourty eight in total (148)

A. Provision of Individual Web Sites (148 Junior Secondary Schools )

1. School General information
2. Publication of news/events/photos/videos
3. Direct public contact to the school management
4. PTA section meeting notes & informations
5. School public notices pages to update general public
6. Registration of Old-students on individual school site
7. Direct connection to central UBEB site for JS1 admission
8. Public certificates, notification & official letter verification
9. eSuggestion online box to allow general public to report issues
10. Listing of all the teaching staff of the school
11. Listing of all school prefects
12. Public listing page for donations to schools from the general public

B. Protected Secure Section
Secure Section Access for authenticated users:

1. Principal Access section
a) full access to student records
b) full access to student results & marks
c) Student admission section with final approval from HQ
d) Direct official letter section from UBEB HQ
e) Student transfer interface for Principal
f) Physical upload of CA records as supplied by the school

2. Teachers Access section
a) full access to student records
b) full access to student results & marks
c) Direct official letter section from UBEB HQ
d) Physical upload of CA records as supplied by the school

3. Parents Access section
a) full access to child records
b) full access to student results & marks
c) Read all Character report by principal
d) Physical upload of CA records as supplied by the school

4. Student Access section
a) full access to own record
b) Physical upload of CA records as supplied by the school

5. Certificates & Testimonial Authentication
a) All new issued certificates will now carry a special electronic code to fight against fraudulent certificates
b) All new issued testimonials will now carry a special electronic code to fight against fraudulent documents
c) All admission letters now have online validation & download
