Hajia Rahmatu Nusa Kamar joined the service of FCDA Education Department on 27th April, 1993 as Education Officer II.

She was appointed the Director in charge of Junior Secondary Schools of FCT Universal Basic Education Board on 3^rd September, 2021.

The department oversees the model that will set the standard for actualization of all goals of the universal Basic Education programme in line with the global educational and technological dynamics.

It provides accessible qualitative basic education to all children of school age in FCT.

The JSS department carries out placements of transiting pupils into JSS online, and very soon every activity of the department will be online.
